The ultimate Hollywood experience

This project is about preserving the image of the Hollywood sign as well as its position as a well-known landmark and at the same time profit from its unique location.

The Hollywood sign is one of the most recognized symbols all over the world. The sign is placed beautifully in the Hollywood Hills with one of the best views of Los Angeles.

Bay Arch therefore proposes to construct a hotel on the backside of the sign making room for unique rooms, suites and public spaces with spectacular views of the surrounding scenery and most of Los Angeles.

Den ultimative Hollywoodoplevelse

Dette projekt handler både om at bevare det kendte Hollywoodskilt, både som et symbol på byens underholdningsindustri, men ligeledes som et vartegn og ikke mindst lukrere på dets unikke placering. Hollywoodskiltet er et af de mest kendte vartegn i verden og det er placeret højt og smukt i området Hollywood Hills med en fantastisk udsigt over Los Angeles.

Bay Arch foreslår at bygge et hotel på bagsiden af skiltet, der både får det maksimale ud af udsigten til værelser, suiter, men ligeledes benytter arkitekturen og det omkringliggende landskab til at skabe unikke offentlige områder både i og omkring hotellet.
